My friends and I did the forest cabin room as a group of 4. When we got there we were grouped with 2 other people. The room itself was small and simple and we solved the puzzle with almost 20 mins left. Overall it was a fun and different way to spend an hour or less with friends doing something out of the norm. I haven't been to any other escape game so I can't compare our experience.

Pros: fun, exciting, entertaining

Cons: being grouped with random people (can be hit or miss- definitely a miss for us) and the puzzle could have been a bit more challenging. Also, I know this is a new craze but the prices are pretty high considering operating costs don't seem to be too high.

Suggestions: smaller groups are better (6 or less). Too many personalities and ways of working could create frustration and confusion.

This does require thinking so you may want to stay away from anything that may impair your thinking.

Great for a mid-day to early evening activity. Party and laugh about the experience after.

Description:

It was a nice sunny day, and you decided to go hiking with your friends in the forest. However, the mist came out of nowhere, and you were the last person on your team because you could not see anything. Then, you just got lost! You were terrified and did not know where to go. Suddenly, you saw some bright light through the mist, so you followed its path and finally found a cabin in the forest! You thought you could finally get some help. Once you arrived outside the cabin, you sensed something fishy because the door was unlocked. There was no one inside. You finally knew what was wrong. It was too quiet.

So much fun!!! My friend and I did the Forest Cabin alone and were like 3 clues away from getting ourselves out. We definitely could have gotten out with more time or another person. The way this puzzle makes you put on your thinking cap, my favorite elementary school term, and focus on communication and listening skills IN A FUN WAY is genius. The staff is helpful when you request clues and with explaining the missed clues.

My friend was nervous for the outcome but going on the loser board is optional. We plan to come with more people, try a new one and get on the right board.

Took my boyfriend to this after finding it from LivingSocial. We did the forest room. It was such an awesome experience. The puzzle was fun and really tested your creativity!

I loved the idea and it was so much better than I could ever have imagined. We definitely will be going back again!!!

The only complaint that I have is that one of the locks were jammed. But besides that everything went smoothly. The staff was very professional and polite. They even took our picture at the end. It was a great date!

We had an excellent time at X-Room. There was a snafoo with my room appointment for the "Forest Cabin", but the people at X-Room were very accommodating. We started with the easiest room, but glad to solve the clues to escape the room. No doubts, this is a place to go back.

I had a good time...we did the prison break. Which i would only recommend if its a group of ppl. Its a lot of clues you must find & with just 2 we didnt make it.

Will definitely round up some folks and go again though. I want to do the masked murder one.
