our two families (8 total) arrived not knowing what to expect; we arrived dressed as our favorite Archer characters and the staff did an excellent job tailoring the spy-themed scenario into a fun Archer-themed experience; staff was friendly, enthusiastic and very accommodating; their observer/controller was on point with the Archerisms! and that just added to the fun; parking no problem; facility new, clean and well done; great location for immediate after event follow on like dinner or shopping in short walking distance; challenging scenario, very detailed; definitely come with your game on! would not hesitate to go again; wish them future success; now one of my favorite activities; thank you Lockdown!

This was an extremely fun experience. We did it as a birthday activity with a group of six adult family members. We are always looking for group activities for birthdays and none of us had ever done anything like this before, so it was quite novel. I knew it would be enjoyed because my kids (now adults) have always liked complex games and puzzles. I, personally, was absolutely no help at all in trying to stop the bomb that would start WW3, but the gamers got right down to it. Even though we didn't quite save the world (sorry), we felt good about how far we got with it and are looking forward to trying the next scenario that Lockdown comes up with. It is really nice that this place is a block off the heart of S. Congress and after playing we walked to a restaurant and continued to enjoy talking about the clues, what we did right and what we could have done better to save the world! Very unique! Great Fun!

Lockdown Austin was such a great experience and great for team building. We took a group of 6 where not everyone knew each other and had to work together to save the world from World War III. It was awesome to see how each persons skill set or strategy played out and how well everyone listened and worked together. I had done the Panic Room before, and from that experience to this one I thought Lockdown Austin's theme tied together well and was more organized and friendly. We had a blast and managed to safe the world with 3:38 minutes remaining!! Definitely go check it out and be prepared for a challenge!

Our flight crew had a layover in Austin and we all decided we wanted to do something new. None of us had participated in an escape house before and wanted to try it. We decided on Lockdown Austin since it had great reviews and they were one of the only ones in Austin that allowed same day bookings. We had a great time! The staff was very helpful

And the puzzle was challenging. I would definitely recommend this escape house!
I was planning for a team offsite and looking for a fun team building activity to do to wrap the day up. A couple people on my team were very excited about doing an escape room so we went ahead and booked it - such a great idea!! It definitely brought out different strengths and personalities (in a good way) and made me realize even more what a strong team we have! Of course winning was an icing on the cake ;) It's the first offsite for our team and I love that it set the tone for our future off sites. Everybody had a lot of fun.

Can't wait for the Casino room to come out! I'm trying to get other teams in my company to go - yup it's officially a competition.
Highly recommended for teams!
These guys had staff out on South Congress and convinced my friends and I to give it a try during their grand opening weekend. I had no idea what to expect and had never heard of an escape room before, but it was crazy fun!! Basically, they put you in a room and you have an hour to figure out how to stop a bomb from going off and starting World War III. I loved how the staff interacted with us and we could tell they were having a great time too - mostly mocking us, but it was OK. We deserved it! They say they are trying to open a new room in a month or two, and I can't wait to go back! They market it as something unique on South Congress, and it's true! They are so close to all the big bars & restaurants in the area and it was great to just walk to dinner afterwards!

Escape rooms are taking the United States by storm! The goal of the game is to find a way out of a locked room within the given time limit. Work as a team to solve logical puzzles, uncover clues, and follow the storyline to unravel the mystery. Each riddle brings you one step closer to the ultimate escape! Escape room games are great for a night out with friends, a date, a birthday celebration, or a team-building activity in the United States.
