  Oh my God just got done doing Spellbound had such a great time set is unbelievably amazing pretty hard but all of it makes sense. I don't think we would have gotten as far as we did without our GM. Wish they had more rooms can't wait to do another one.

  Unfortunately I can't give this escape room a good review. I've participated in 40+ escape rooms in the Phoenix area and this room was by far my worst experience out of all of them. On the plus side, the room was very well decorated and the experience was immersive, however the train car motion actually caused some pretty moderate nausea with no way to turn it off until the first puzzle was solved. The remaining portion of the room had a set of adequate puzzles, but then 2 longer puzzles that were simply annoyingly tedious, it never felt like we achieved anything when solving the puzzles. We didn't escape the room, however in similar situations in other rooms we have enjoyed laughing about where we made mistakes and how we could do better and appreciating the design of the puzzles - this room only left us frustrated and annoyed. These complaints are probably causes or magnified by the fact that, from our perspective, our GM was either ignoring our group, and the clues we did receive seemed to be lacking or were significantly delayed from when we did ask for help. Considering the premium cost of these rooms, we will unfortunately not be returning to finish their other rooms unlike the dozen or other companies that we have "cleared out". I really had such high expectations and never have been so disappointed with an escape room.

• Escape game: The Bunker

  Our group had done approx 10-15 rooms in Arizona. This room was okay, it wasn't too difficult. There were definitely some unique clues/puzzles, but we felt like there weren't enough puzzles. We were with two newbies, and moving at a slower pace to allow for the newbies to fully experience solving puzzles, and we still were seconds away from setting the record time. We are coming back to do The Collector because of the difficulty rating. Very excited. As far as the staff, they're incredibly friendly and great to work with. Will be back to review The Collector room.

• Escape game: Spellbound

  Our group have completed around 15-20 escape rooms in Arizona and "Spellbound" is our consensus favorite room. The attention to detail and the design of the room is amazing. They definitely spent money creating this room. It was very challenging and we escaped with less than 3 minutes on the clock. But we have a pretty great group of six that work together really well. Wouldn't recommend this room for beginners, but once you've done a couple, you have to check out this room. Since completing "Spellbound", we compare every room we do to this one, and unfortunately, nothing compares to this room. Very friendly staff at Mind Spark, too.

• Escape game: Blaine's Basement

  We LOVE Escape Games AZ! The staff are so friendly and personable, we've come back to do all of their rooms. We've talked to our other friends to bring different groups to try out their rooms, too. Specifically reviewing Blaine's Basement: You should definitely go in the evening when it's darker out. It definitely adds to the creepiness of the room. Unfortunately, our group did not escape Blaine's Basement (because we were so terrified of the darkness in the room). But when we told our other friends to do it, they escaped and loved it. One of our favorites rooms in all of Arizona. Definitely recommend their "Quest for the Throne" and "Condo" rooms also. Very fun puzzles and a good blend of "locks" and more "technical" triggers.
