Definitely the most interactive/entertaining place by SIU! Attempt to escape a room, in 60 minutes, by solving various puzzles. Every 10 minutes the zombie, chained to the end of the room, will be released slightly. If the zombie touches you, you're infected. Try it out for a great time!

Description:

A local professor of chemistry developed a drug in his lab which had unintended consequences. As a honeymoon gift to themselves, the professor and his new wife tried the prototype "feel good" drug too soon. To make a long story short, now we have a zombie locked in a lab that we are obligated to keep fed! But zombies only feed on live human flesh!

Don't fret. If you figure out the clues we've to left escape before the zombie gets to you, you won't become zombie fodder. But after the timer hits zero, you have made the ultimate sacrifice by feeding our specimen for the night. We thank you in advance either way!

This was so much fun! Who's idea of a good time doesn't include being locked in a room with a chained-up zombie! The puzzles were challenging and required everyone working together. The moderator was helpful, offering suggestions, but was not obtrusive. Very suspenseful watching the clock tick down as the zombie inches closer and closer. The locked room challenge was one of the most fun hours of my life and was worth every penny!

This is Eric Morrison of The Camera Crew. Having been a native to this area my entire life, I must say the thrill and excitement that The Carbondale Escape Room brings to this area is huge. If you are tired of the same old haunted houses or are just looking for something else to do then party, then definitely book a trip through The Escape Room. That is.....if you can get through it........

Our family of two adults and four teenagers had a great time. The escape room offers opportunities for everyone to help try to get out. The athletic and the puzzle solving kind and those who think outside the box can all work together to help their team escape. Highly recommend for fun night out.
