Zombie apocalypse was not maintained well. Numerous clues and locks were so worn down that It was almost unidentifiable even after given a hint and told what to look for. Some of the locks did not open after we punched in the correct code. We asked about how many characters go in one of the codes and they said 8(we had 7). We spent so much time looking for the missing number. We asked about it again and told them the code we had and they said that's it.

The coldwar room was cool but when I signed up for a second game the code they gave me didn't work and I had to email them to fix it. I had an personal emergency and couldn't make it to the game and they wouldn't refund me or reschedule the game. They offered standby, where I would have to wait around hoping someone would cancel their game. I have had better customers service and experience at The escape venture Orlando. If you come to American escape rooms near ucf beware of their unforgiving policies and lack of client satisfaction.

My family loves escape rooms and we have done all rooms in our city except this one room. Zombie apocalypse in Tallahassee however was definitely not worth the money spent. I understand that things in rooms like this get worn, but the key components (like locks to open boxes and doors codes) should work fairly flawlessly. Several items did not function correctly that caused at least 20 minutes of wasted time. This is the first room that I feel was a waste of time and money.

If you like a billion locks and keys one after the other, then this is the place for you. Beware of faulty tools. We spent around 10-15 minutes on a single lock. We were extremely confused why it wouldn’t open! Come to find out that the lock was broken! We did not get our time back And made us question every lock we came across (which were ALOT). The second room we encountered also had a wonky tool that wouldn’t work properly and that also took us around 10-15 minutes to move on. This was to the point we were asked if we needed someone to come in. It is unfortunate because the concepts were cool and interesting and the workers were enthusiastic and friendly. After 2 encounters with a faulty item, it is safe to say we will not be going back here.
