As entrepreneurs in spirit and a husband and wife team we have owned and operated Distinction Gallery since 2004 and ArtHatch since 2010. We thought it would be a natural fit to add a visually stimulating escape room to our 7,000 arts complex.
The complex contains an art gallery, 14 artist studios, and artwork by local, national, and international artists. ArtHatch is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and the escape room is a fundraiser. All proceeds benefit the non-profit.
ArtHatch donates one of the studios to teen artists ages 15-19. The program gives 42 program teens studio space, art supplies, exhibition space, mentorship, and monthly workshops.
We are proud to have had local artists Chris Polentz, Estevan Loya, Denise Bledsoe, Victor Roman, August Williams, and Michael Walrond help with art and decor in the room.
We had an awesome time. Our group had 7 people, we've done a handful of rooms so far and this one is awesome! ArtHatch has a great balance of fun, challenges and surprises. Sam was our host and was so welcoming, great personality and he is so in tune with moderating the room. If you feel stuck just ask for a clue. I also liked how the clues were just that, he guided us rather than just telling us the answer. Two added bonuses all the amazing art you get to see and your escape room admission goes to a non-profit! Check this room out you will love it.

Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed this room. We have done 4 other rooms together and we rank this one up there. Great and unique puzzles that had us thinking from the start. Definitely a fun and challenging room even for experienced groups!

We just did this escape room on Sunday night with our daughter and her friend who are both art lovers. The room was super creative and very difficult. Awesome rock playing in the background lent clues as we struggled our way to open the door. I would highly recommend the place - not just as an escape room location but they have an amazing 7000 sq foot space filled with local and international art and photography.
