Grand Royal Escape opened in 2016, the brainchild of entrepreneur, escape room enthusiast and railroad man Chris Cruze. He loved the puzzles, team building, and out of the box experiences these rooms created so he decided to build one. After the initial start up with a single room he decided he wanted to expand so he brought in some help in the form of an imaginative maniac named Dodd. Dodd is passionate about play and stopping to take time to enjoy life. Together they built the rooms and created the all of the puzzles. That does mean we are a mom and pop shop and it is something we are proud of. It sets us apart. We love chilling, having a good time, and solving puzzles. We hope you'll come by and join in the world we created.

We did the Train Heist room and it was really fun, but the doors and locks didn't work that great. The concept is awesome as I've completed over 40 rooms across the country, but the lack of making sure the codes were correct was bad. We had to work on "other stuff" while a staff member had to fix a code on one item which is highly discouraging and distracting. I still believe the room was unique and fun though. If you're in town, it's definitely worth trying this room.

We had an amazing time! We did the zombie room and it was challenging but a lot of fun. This was my 4th escape room and some of my friends first and we all thought it was amazing. If we're ever back in the area we will definitely be doing the other rooms, especially the train one!

My boyfriend and I did the Zombie escape room and we had a blast! The puzzles were fun and interesting. We managed to make it out with barely 3 minutes left! The staff was also really kind and very helpful.

My group of six truly enjoyed the Jewel Heist experience this past weekend! We all felt like little detectives and I saw the spark in my friends' eyes brighten when they solved one of the riddles. It would be a great activity for families in town visiting during the holidays!! I am looking forward to bringing my dad to this location to experience the thrill of Grand Royal Escape.

I booked the British spy room for my husband's birthday not expecting much because my husband and I are veteran haunted house type people and big into mystery and puzzles BUT we were pleasantly surprised! The room was small but the puzzle made up for it in every way, we had so much more fun than I expected!

The gentleman who worked the building was so friendly and helpful with any questions I had prebooking they deserve five stars just for their customer service itself, they even had no problem with me bringing my 16 month old son when I couldn't get a sitter.
