We visited Lock Chicago's new location in Evanston after doing their Sunburn and Malfunction rooms and this is by far one of our favorites! We enjoyed the other 2 games but they really brought it with this one. Went with our family and were able to get out with a few minutes to spare. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Awesome place for a birthday party for a child in middle school. The kids had the best time! The staff was fantastic. Highly recommend this place.

Best team retreat ever!

Ty was incredibly helpful from making the initial arrangements all the way through to a triumphant photo after we all escaped.

Location: Lock Chicago has moved from Davis street to Green Bay road, both within Evanston. I do like this location much better as it is more spacious and there is more parking available. There are also several restaurants and fun shops in the area, so you should make a day out of it.

Condition: We were a group of 6 people and booked a private room. It was the newest room and everything was in a good and clean condition.

Staff: From the very beginning, the communication with the business from booking, to re-booking, to re-booking again has been friendly and efficient. Everybody working here is nice and happy to help.

Summary: This specific room Icarus was very involved and I am glad there were 6 of us versus, let's say, just 4. Sadly we did not succeed, but that did not discouraged us from going to another room some another time. We had lots of fun and the hour went by very quickly.

My wife and I are enthusiasts and have done about 30 rooms throughout Chicago so we figured we'd explore Evanston and some of the outlying suburbs. Lock Chicago did not disappoint! The puzzles and theme were spot on and the employees working were very helpful and friendly. We liked how Malfunction had two different options to "win" and while we didn't complete the entire room we did just enough to get on their wall of champions! Thanks Lock Chicago for a fun time and definitely recommend checking these guys out for anyone in the area.

Close proximity to Northwestern and the public transit so was easy for us to find their facility.

This was the 2nd escape room I did at Lock Chicago's location in Evanston and one of my favorite rooms in the area! I went with my coworkers last month and did their Sunburn room which we loved so I came back with my family to try Matsuri and it did not disappoint. It was slightly easier than Sunburn was but we were still able to escape with 2 minutes to spare. Conveniently located right in downtown Evanston I work at Northwestern so it made it super easy to check these guys out. Highly recommend!
