Scaventour

Scaventour™ is a live action game that is modeled off of an escape room game, but instead of the game taking place indoors in a private venue, it is outside in public spaces. Like an escape room, players are challenged to open many locked cases and bags in order to find the next location and get to the end within 60 minutes. At times, Scaventour™ will feel like an escape game, but other times, it feels like a scavenger hunt, or a treasure hunt, or even like in a famous code breaking movie, or one about a treasure hunt.

This was overall a fun experience, but not really for hard-core or experienced escape room players. My wife and I played just the two of us. The puzzles were too simple, not at the complex puzzles in a well-designed escape room. This would be a great activity for families with kids maybe 6-14 years old.

Tourist Trap

I was lucky enough to test out Scaventour's Tourist Trap. The game was such a creative concept, forcing me to think outside the box with the puzzles and discover new sites around Waikiki that I had never noticed before. The course had us walking roughly around 1 1/2 miles, but we were having so much fun with the various puzzles and Waikiki scenery that we hardly noticed the distance we were traveling! This is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience that takes the concept of escape rooms to a whole new level. Definitely excited to see more to come from this company, and can't wait to share this experience with family and friends!

Tourist Trap

First time doing anything this. Had a great time and really surprised myself. Didn't even realized that I had a great physical workout as well as a mental workout. Highly recommend if you like a challenge and the outdoors. It's like the whole Escape Room phenomena done outside

Duke's Revenge

Excellent fun. I did the Duke's Revenge game and just had a blast. Greg is a great guide and the game is a perfect way to enjoy being outside in Waikiki for an hour or so. Good for the entire family. A bit challenging at times, but Greg will help you get through all of it, and at the end we got these cool coins. I look forward to playing the other games soon.

Duke's Revenge

Had the privilege to experience this new and creative game coming to Hawaii. It was really enjoyable with puzzles to solve, collaborative gameplay with your team, and a nice breath of air while taking in the sites. You will not find another experience like this on the island. I have lived here my whole life and have never really noticed some of the visuals in Waikiki till now. You will not be disappointed with this experience.
