When my group got to the place it was a bit chaotic...multiple groups of people were waiting in the lobby so it was pretty warm. We got checked in and our game master played us an introduction video and explained the rules.Bev B.
Now onto the room, the room was one of the bigger rooms I've seen. There were numerous puzzles and props that our group had to split up to work on various things. We did have a timer in our room but it was inaccurate (10 min ahead) which made everyone stress because we thought we were running behind. This room does need a few improvements but the concept is really cool and unique and emphasizes the importance of working together and being a team player.
When we first got into the room, one of the locked boxes was already open so that may have been overlooked during the resetting of the room. My friend also found a worm (live) inside one of the bins (black bin near the door) so make sure to check before reaching in there. There were also instances where we had to take something from one room to a different room to solve the puzzle which I thought could be confusing to newbies.
Overall very fun experience and I believe this company has a lot of potential.
Thanks Xterious Escape.
I've been to a hand full of escape rooms, and I gotta say this one has been one of the most challenging ones.Leslie R.
The place has 4 rooms, to prison cells, a Science Lab room and a Las Vegas Casino themed room.
I went with my coworkers as a staff event, and my group got to do the prison room and Casino room. You get 1 hour to get out of the room!!
You can ask for help, but after your third hint, they add 15 seconds on your time.
Overall the rooms were so much fun! Will definitely be coming again to try the Science Room, I heard that one was harder than the Casino.
A friend of mine who is an escape room aficionado told me that Curse of Mapuche was one of, if not the, best escape rooms he has done. While I have not done nearly as many rooms as he has, the room did not disappoint!COFamilyMan80439
We found it to be a perfect level of difficulty (with a couple of hints) for a 3 generation group of 6. Great mix of combinations and technical puzzles, and some very cool effects.
We had an amazing time ending our double date night at Xterious Escape. Our group did the "Great Escape" game. Without giving away any spoilers, you're a fugitive trying to escape jail. You start off inside of the jail cell and with each room you solve, it takes you one step closer to being free. I definitely recommend this game if you're looking for a challenging obstacle that allows your team to partner in pairs. Apparently, the best solve record was under 25 minutes, but sadly it took our group the full hour.Bao Tran N.
Our experience at XE was very positive. The staffs were friendly and attentive. They readily answered the walkie-talkes whenever we needed help and gave us informative clues in a timely manner. The place was clean and located in a good area near the strip. Also, the rooms were nicely decorated with props that were high-tech and believable. Overall, I highly recommend this place.
Hands down, this place provides some of the best Escape Room experiences we've ever had. Games are challenging, fun, exciting - very well thought out. Never a dull moment with these Rooms - Xterious will definitely keep you on our toes, racing against the clock! Plus the staff is simply amazing - they always go above and beyond to ensure we have a great game! We absolutely love you Ben!A - Hall Tilque
