Eight people is a reasonable amount of players for escape rooms. Everyone will find something to do: strategizing, taking charge, searching for clues, solving puzzles, cheering the team on, counting down the minutes, wandering from room to room or chatting up the game master. This was a great room. The puzzles were challenging and fun. There were also some cool surprises to be found. My only complaint with the experience was being paired in the room with strangers. It makes the experience less enjoyable when you are solving puzzles with people you don't know and when their style of working is different than yours. They had been drinking and were loud and cursing a bit, to each their own, just not what I enjoy being around. Overall the experience was good, but it would have been so much better had it just been our group alone in there.

This was our 5th and best escape room experience. Our group really enjoyed the whole adventure. It was really well done. The puzzles were fun and challenging. There were some clever and surprising ideas that we were still talking about on the way home. We liked the props and professionally done room design. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially Chelsea. :) We are looking forward to going back when they open their second room. Great work Victor Valley Escape!
