Eight people is a reasonable amount of players for escape rooms. Everyone will find something to do: strategizing, taking charge, searching for clues, solving puzzles, cheering the team on, counting down the minutes, wandering from room to room or chatting up the game master. Book one of the rooms in Longmont and find out what will your contribution be!
One of the best rooms we've seen in the Boulder area. Both rooms we've done were pleasantly challenging and the solutions to the puzzles were satisfying. The game master was clearly paying attention and was able to provide timely help without interfering. Definitely looking forward to the opening of the new room.

One of the more imaginative and unique escape rooms I've ever been to! The host was amazing and made us feel really welcome. Overall great experience and can't wait to be back to try the other puzzles.

We've done a lot of these and this one was one of the most creative and interesting rooms we've done. A lot for everyone to work on at once instead of everyone trying to figure things out one thing at a time. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers.

My husband and I are kind of escape room nerds. He’s big into games, I’m into immersive theater, and it’s the perfect intersection of activity for us.

This is to say he and I have been to a LOT of escape rooms, not just in Colorado. And Atlas Escape is easily one of my favorites.
There are some other escape rooms in CO that invest a lot in very impressive sets. Atlas’s rooms aren’t Disney-world worthy sets, but it hardly matters because the room stories and puzzles are so dang fun.
We started out in the Rock Star room which offers this super unique concept behind it, where you’re looking for the key to the inheritance of a Mick Jagger-esque, recently deceased rock legend. The owner/game master told us to pick out a record from the bin to put on the turntable and play during our game.
There were lots of really thoughtful little touches like that. The owner really seems to care whether his players have fun in his rooms. Which we totally did. I felt *delighted* at so many moments, between the puzzles and the surprises they unlocked.
We also played the Dragon’s Egg room, and although we preferred the Rock Star room, the fantasy-themed room provided the most joyous surprise of the night. I won’t spoil it, but believe me it was super gratifying when it happened.
We finished both rooms really quickly, so I think this might be a great option for escape room beginners. That being said, even more experienced players will enjoy the way the puzzles work together, the clever ways things are hidden, and the lovely prop pieces that they’ve curated.
And! It’s right on Pearl St. So it’s a great date night option as you can park, the stroll along Pearl and grab dinner or stop at a brewery right after.
Thanks again for an awesome experience!
Great night out. The puzzles were tons of fun. Staff was friendly, entertaining and the pla e was so clean! We cannot wait to do the next room! 5 ☆

Had a great time! Puzzles engaging and entertaining. Friendly staff, good COVID precautions. Great place to spend a fun hour! Didn't break the fastest time for escaping, but will try again!
