Hands down best escape room I've been to on the Island. It was challenging but in a fun and interactive way. Different skill sets used throughout the game made it an awesome experience for our group of 8. An amazing story too!

Description:

Something sinister is lurking in Sunderland Hollow. Bizarre crimes occur nightly. Children are vanishing. Main Street is abandoned. Don’t bother dialing 911 because no one’s picking up.

You have joined others in the fight against apathy and despair by volunteering for a search party, but the case's lead detective is nowhere to be found. All you have are records of his very dark suspicions. Will you follow the trail of puzzles and paranoia that leads into town? Will you discover what’s really been hiding in Sunderland Hollow?

A lot of fun to do with a bunch of people. Actually pretty difficult but everybody gets into it and unlocks pieces to the puzzle. We escaped, but took a little more time to do it. Highly recommended!

Very well thought out, creative and fun! Of the dozens of escape rooms I’ve done on Long Island and NYC, this was one of the best!

Very creative and well thought out. Multiple rooms with varying challenges that can be worked at simultaneously. Challenging but never frustrating as Greg’s voice floats in to offer some otherworldly guidance when necessary. Good family fun or to be out with a group of friends. As a bonus it’s across from Tara’s ... and who doesn’t want a Tara burger?

We went in somewhat skeptical with our three sons 20, 18, and 15 (home from school) and each was entertained and involved.

First escape room I had tried, BF and I went with 2 other couples. We all had a blast! The puzzles were all so intricate and well thought out, everyone had something to be working on. It was exciting, we were laughing, but there was also a great mystery storyline to it which added to the fun. Loved it, definitely would come again when a new room is made up. Great first experience, thank you!

We did the Sutherland Hollow room. I cannot say enough good things about this room and the owner Greg. If you want a true escape room experience and not the plethora of substandard rooms that have cropped up on LI, visit Know Escape. I have done over 30 rooms and designed 2 of my own. This design of the room was very good. The puzzles were challenging but made sense and fit into the theme. A number of puzzles were unique. The room was themed well. The room is a bit unique in that the owner lets you go over an hour to solve the room and will keep you on track with hints. Hint system was a baby monitor which worked better than the typical walkie talkies you get in many escape room because you need to carry those around.
