• These are movie-like sets!
  
  For me, the biggest aspect is always how well the room feels like the theme presented. Komnata Quest Manhattan goes above and beyond and makes you feel like you are really part of the story!
  
  I've now completed all rooms available at this location and none of them were disappointing. My favorite room is, hands down, CURSED! The atmosphere and special effects in this room legitimately frightened me but added so much to the experience! Now I'm bummed I have to wait for more to open.

• Had a friend from Brazil in town and decided to do something different for a change. We had a group of six and half of the group was going to experience the escape room for the first time (including me and my visitor). We chose the 'Cursed' room. It was very interesting and had its thrilling (say screaming) moments. The entourage of a haunted house was on point as well! We thought that our more experienced friends would get through all the challenges but everybody got to solve a part of the puzzle. Really cool for a team building or a group of friends! Would love to come again for a different room.

• I was lucky to try out Komnata's new room called "Cursed". Inside the house, the set and scenery are out of American Horror Story or Amityville Horror, with some effective prop placement and enough darkness and little jumps and noises to keep you on your toes. We ended up finishing the game right at around the one hour mark, with enough puzzles and things to figure out inside for my brain to need some re-cooperation time after. Great interaction witht the staff and overall a fun experience!
