• I came here a few months ago for my bachelorette. It was amazing. I love puzzles and escape rooms and had a blast roping my non-escape room loving friends into the fun. The staffs are exceptionally friendly, helpfulh and accommodating . They made an exception to allow extra players for this challenge given the occasion and it was gloriously fun and hilarious. You would think we would have the advantage by combining our collective wits to solve all the clues but it's harder than it looks! We had a little help from our gamemaster who kept a close eye on us to make sure we didn't stray too far off course but still keeping things fun and challenging. We escaped the space themed room with just a few minutes to spare and I was given the honor of punching in the final code. It was one of my favorite memories from my bachelorette night celebrating with good friends. I'd highly recommend mission escape games to escape room lovers and the uninitiated alike. It's a fun way to spend time with a group of friends of any size.

• Mission Escapes is great and Escape the Darkest Hour was really scary and so much fun! Had a great experience with my crew. The gamemaster also made the experience legit playing the role really well and adding a lot more to the whole game. Stayed and did the Jekyll and Hyde room and that one was great too. Need to do the other two rooms and will very soon. Definitely recommend!

• This was our first ever escape room and we chose the Darkest Hour room.
  
  The game was thought out and challenging. I was very impressed with this facility and their staff. We did not escape the room, however, the challenge kept us intrigued and I'm very excited to come back and try to escape again!

• Intense. Loved it. We did the horror-themed room "Escape the Darkest Hour" which is played in the dark. 8 of us went and enjoyed the hour. We made it out with 5 seconds left. It was such a great experience and I highly recommend it. We will be back to try a different room.

• Came back for my 2nd mission, Escape the Darkest Hour with these fellows. Did the Art Studio with my friend last time. This time we got for more friends joining us because we would be so scared with just the two of us (laugh). And we had a blast even tho we didn't make it out but we were so close!!!! Just needed one more minute (laugh). The staff is super friendly as always. They remembered us and gave us a nice welcome back smile.
  
  I love the atmosphere, effects, and decorations of the room!!! I felt like I was in a horror video game irl!!!! One of my friend was super nervous and scared going in but the staff talked to us and she felt more comfortable afterward.
  
  Totally recommend this room to anyone who love horror action games!!! If you never played escape rooms before I would recommend you to try out their intro game, Art Studio first because if we didn't do to Art Studio, we would be so lost (laugh).

• We came here for a birthday and booked "Escape the Darkest Hour." We originally wanted to try other rooms, but we didn't find a comfortable time with our other plans. Some of the people in our party arrived late, but they were nice enough to start timing us 15 minutes after the scheduled time. It was definitely weird having our party stroll into the room at different times and it took us some time to get on the same wavelength, but that wasn't their fault. We definitely used the birthday card to get some more hints and the moderator was really rooting for us--thanks man!
  
  "Escape the Darkest Hour" was a fun experience for us. The room was set up well, and the puzzles were well thought out. The clues definitely came in handy though. This is supposed to be an intermediate room as well, and this was our first time playing!
  
  (Also felt compelled to write this because of the confusion we had via a phone call after we left. Bottom line is: the staff is great and this was fun!)

• My best friend and husband surprised me by taking me here. We did the darkest hour. And we made it! We had such a great time. The puzzles are hard, and require thinking and teamwork. There was a lot of effort put into the room and the puzzle. I can't wait to come back and try the other rooms!

• Very fun place! I went to escape rooms in Florida and it was the first time I experienced something like this in New York.
  
  My friends and I challenged the "dark room" horror themed room. Im proud to say that while it was a challenging room we made it out with 2 minutes and 10 seconds to spare.
  
  I must say that this room is NOT for beginners. I highly suggest that if you come to this room and it is your first time, bring some friends whos had some experience with these types of games.
  
  You are in a completely dark room with about 3 flashlights, and with the sound effects, the room is just that much creepier. To whoever decides to challenge this room, good luck! Be one of the few who successfully escapes!
  
  I'll be sure to visit the next time I'm in New York!
