Read all reviewsWhile this was not a typical 'escape room', it was interesting. We did the Clockwork room. It was more like a 'puzzle room'. You had to decode puzzles to find keys and unlock combo locks. While the first clue seemed fun, the other clues (without giving it away I hope), all consisted of the same type of decoded number puzzle to solve. I HATE numbers, and this is all the room was. Each clue you had to solve the same way. Not so much fun and turned out kind of boring and frustrating. I didn't have the best time. And the 5 other people I came with weren't that thrilled either. And the clues we were given that were 'literal clues' were not. They were cryptic within themselves and the other clues weren't written very well. The wording could have been changed out (and just as effective) if said differently. We did not 'get the gold' in this Clockmakers tale. Which is okay, I just wish it would have had more variety of puzzles. Would have been more fun.

Where the concept was nice and the staff was very fun and pleasant to talk too, I feel after going to other true escape rooms, this was a miss for us. But the other rooms we could hear were having an amazing time. So maybe we picked the wrong room for our group? We may try another room at a later date.
