My partner and I did The Apartment Nextdoor. Entire experience is in complete darkness so expect a lot of touching things. Better to go with your partner or very close friends as you'll probably need to touch them like grab their hands to lead them somewhere. Really fun and definitely a different type of experience compared to those with full visibility. Puzzles were not hard but since you need to do it in complete darkness, it takes a bit more time than usual.

I've done rooms at both the San Jose and Sunnyvale locations, and they are both great. We did Apartment Next Door, and it was a unique experience. It is, as everybody else has mentioned, completely dark...like you might as well close your eyes dark. I think they did a good job balancing the difficulty of the puzzles with the fact that you can't see anything (we dropped something in the room and had no idea we'd dropped it until they told us). Also, it's pretty creepy, so if you get scared easily be warned, you'll scream at several points. We aren't great at escape rooms and we didn't finish, but it was still a great time.
