The most theatrical escape room in Wilmington. A must for any escape room enthusiast or any beginner. Can't wait until the next room opens I'll be first in line!

Description:

The esteemed archaeologist Howard Carter is credited for discovering the Egyptian Pharaoh King Tutankhamuns tomb the Egyptian dessert in November of 1922.

Records show that at that time, when he supposedly found King Tuts tomb that he was actually in the jungles of Capeche Mexico, the site of his very first Excavation where he was exploring the mysterious Mayan temples. It is also where, oddly enough, he discovered his first ancient Egyptian artifacts.

After nearly 30 years digging around Egypt looking for King Tuts tomb all he found were more ancient Egyptian artifacts, just like those he found in the jungle. He then decided to go back to the jungle and see if they were all some how related.

What were Egyptian artifacts doing in the Mayan jungles of Mexico? What did the Mayans and Egyptians have in common? How was Howard in the jungle and at the same time credited with discovering King Tuts tomb?

You and your team must go investigate the Mayan jungles of Mexico and figure out the secrets of the mysterious tomb!

This is the 7th escape room I have done and I think it is my favorite. The Pharaoh's Curse was very challenging, even for 8 people! All of the puzzles were well thought out and flowed from one to the other. The look, feel, & design of the room is really well done, it's a fully immersive experience.

We have done so many escape rooms, including in other cities and countries, and iEscape has the BEST experience by far! We did the Pharaoh’s Curse room and it was absolutely amazing. It’s extremely well thought out and complex and we had SO much fun! We will absolutely be back when they open their prison room!!!

After doing many other escapes rooms we came to iescape to do the Pharaohs Curse room and it was definitely the best room we’ve done. The placement of every clue was creative and the design of the room actually made you feel like you were in and Egyptian tomb. Awesome job and we will definitely be back!

Pharaohs Curse Room: We have done numerous escapes rooms as a family and this one was well themed, well designed, and will DEFINITELY make you think! Fun for the entire family.
