You have recently inherited this manor and through sheer luck or destiny have shown up to inspect it exactly on the centennial of their sudden disappearance, at 1 hr till midnight. Legend has it that if you are able to release the curse, you and your family’s lineage will be saved. If not, you may end up like your Aunt and Uncle.
