Game was fun until there was a box which had no indication that it was off limits to open. it opened very easily and contained essential clues to the game. then the guy walked in and said that we “broke his game” which was dumb because we followed all the rules. very poor design. consider adding some sort of on screen indication when something is off limits because there was no red tape outside of the box that he so didn’t want us opening.

I really wanted to like this escape room. We did it with 3 adults and 3 tween girls that haven't done an escape room before. The adults mainly stepped back and let the girls do their work. We escaped with 27 minutes to spare. This room was way too easy and the puzzles were way too obvious. This was a waste of money.

First time here. Came on a Monday night and they had karaoke going on which is pretty awesome. Nice to have a place to play games, eat, drink, go bowling and do escape rooms so close by! We don't have to drive all the way to I-drive.

We went to the Escape Room for Father's Day, we did Room 113, it was very challenging but fun at the same time. Thank goodness we had 4 people or we wouldn't have been able to complete the challenge at all. We got out with 1 min and 4 seconds to spare. We will definitely be back especially to take advantage of the BOGO specials on Tuesday.

We had our Escape Room Group back in town this past weekend, so we decided to give District Eat And Play a second chance (our first experience wasn't bad, just disappointing because we didn't get to do an Escape Room for my birthday, which was why we originally visited.

This time we went on a Saturday afternoon, and we had food, drinks, played the games, and were able to do Room 113.
From the moment we walked in the door, every employee we encountered was as friendly as can be. From the employees who signed us up for the escape room, to the girl who was our Game Master in the Escape Room, to the guy who took our pictures, and the employees who took our food and liquor orders... everyone was smiling, friendly, and helpful.
We tried more of the food as well. This time we had the chicken tenders, fries, and the taco pizza which were all delicious, and very reasonably priced.
Since very few reviews are dealing with the Escape Rooms themselves, I would love to be the first review to give some real feedback on the escape room we completed (Room 133). This was our groups 35th Escape Room. First and foremost, the decor in the room was A+. The room looks and feels so legit, that it becomes very easy to really immerse yourself into the storyline. The puzzles were fun, and totally solvable. Once or twice the storyline becomes a bit linear, but there are other things in the room that the other players can be investigating at least, so they aren't just standing there waiting. It did feel like the room had fewer puzzles than what we are used to, but a couple of those puzzles were new puzzles that we had not stumbled upon before, and it definitely had sufficient puzzles to keep everyone in the room occupied. There was 1 puzzle component that was being a bit stubborn, which actually caused us to miss breaking the room's record by 1 minute, but the Game Master advised that they are aware of the issue, so I suspect that it will be getting tweaked in the near future. All in all, I would say that this room was just "a lot of fun to play", and it left us in a great mood for the rest of our visit.
After this visit, it is safe to say that we will be returning soon! So glad to see a business like this breathing some new life into Oveido Mall. It desperately needs it!
