LandonWow! This is the best escape room ambience I have seen in Utah. Escape on 13th always had great rooms before, but this new one is (excuse the pun) out of this world fun!

RNThis escape room company has two themes in their rooms, the first being great set design, possibly due to their being associated with the haunted house next door.
The second, unfortunately, is bad lighting. Does the designer of these rooms perhaps have racoon DNA that allow them to see in the dark? In both rooms I've been to here, every player complained of not being able to see the clues in the dim lighting. The lighting in a haunted house is not appropriate for a room involving close investigation.
This room also suffers from one room syndrome. Meaning that 90% of the puzzle solving takes place in one of the 3 rooms, the tiniest and darkest one. Three people did not fit well in there, more people would have meant any extras spend the last 30 minutes standing around.
Further against it is that the very first puzzle involves and specific setup by an actor, which they messed up and cost us several minutes.
This room can be one of the great ones with some fairly minor changes, but for now doesn't really excel like it could.December 31, 2020
