The Perfect Escape

My family has done escape rooms around the world and the theming and experience of Mr. Wong's is one of the best we have seen! The puzzles are multi-linear, so there was always something for everyone to work on. My favorite park about this was the authenticity of the room and the variety of puzzles. Bring your A game to this room!

This is the mid level room, and a really fun challenge. We liked that this one had a bit of a different story line than most escape rooms, and the room is larger so there is a lot more ground to cover. We definitely needed more clues to solve it but it was a blast! They do such an amazing job making it a believable experience and also making the puzzles in each room vastly different.

There are so many parts to this room, I don't know where to start. First, the decorations and props are great - even the door to the room adds to the design. We really had to pay attention to the clues along the way, and we did have a hard time figuring a few out because we were paying attention to the wrong things.

Theme:There are such cool props and set pieces in here, and the story is well thought out. Each time we finished something, there was another surprise coming.

Quality:Very nicely done and in great shape - love how well things worked.

Difficulty:Things really built on themselves over time - it started out very easy and then got more interesting and complex as we moved through.

Fun:At first, things seemed easy, but then they just got fun. Nice, creative puzzles and stories inside.

O’Bannions Safe

We were absolutely blown away by the theming in here. It really is totally immersive and you get into the Egyptian theme really well. But I admit - IT IS HARD!! Unless you're a very experienced escape room player, start with Wong's or Obanion's. Again, the puzzles are very challenging, and different from the ones you'll experience in their other rooms. So each room is a totally new challenge. My teammates liked this room the best just based on the theme.

Came with a group of 10 and we were blown away at the attention to detail of the room. Most of us had done some escape rooms in the past and this definitely has been the best one so far.

We had the Egyptian themed room and it was so immersive and thoughtful. The story and tricks were great, and the layout was fantastic. This room was a tough one, but we managed to get out with a few minutes to spare.

Thank you, Taz, for being a fantastic game master. We all had a wonderful experience and will definitely plan to come back to try the other ones out.

All three rooms are well done and clever. Great puzzles and lots of effort from the designers. Recommend Wong's Restaurant but have done all three with solid enjoyment.

Came to TX for a weekend event and did seven escape rooms during downtime; Wong's was a favorite!
