• To any escape room enthusiast this is an absolute must do. Not really scary but at times creepy and absolutely drenched in theme! If you want high quality don't look any further. I've been doing escape rooms for years and this is one of my favorites.

• This room has a unique aspect about it. I really wanted to absolutely LOVE this room after reading the reviews, but it was just okay for me. I tend to like balance of traditional and modern elements, this room was all modern task-based elements. Unlike Impossible Murder Mystery, another all modern task-based puzzle room, this room was sparse in that there are not a lot of elements to interact with. Finally, a few months after the fact, there is nothing really memorable about the puzzles that stands out. This is not true for many of the other rooms I have done.

• After doing 30+ escape rooms across the US Komnata's "Maze of Hakaina" ranks up there with the best. Top notch props and the puzzles were fantastic. I recommend this room to anyone looking for a great escape room experience.

  Imagine immersing yourself for an hour in a Japanese themed dungeon, full of demons, riddles, and fear. Getting out and being successful in what you need to achieve is up to your wit, and ability to stay calm, up to your courage, and ability to work together.
  
  Even if you fail the quest, you will remember it as magical and beautiful adventure.
  
  We went there for a date, and it is solvable for a team of two. The actor who led us there was great, the riddles were interesting, the story was well written. It took us 59 minutes to get out, but even had we failed it, it would have been still worth every minute of our time.

• I've been to more than 20 escape rooms. But this one gave me a BLAST. Unbelievable! I'm full of impressions. Don't want to give any spoilers, but I'm sure you haven't yet tried such an incredible experience! MUST DO in NYC!
  
  Unique riddles, atmospheric decorations, sounds, legend of the room... visiting Hakaina's Maze was like entering a new world where I want to come back to continue my trip...

• That was an amazing room! Loved it! We already did a bunch of different rooms from Komnata, and other company's, but this one become our favorite. Highly recommend it to escape room lovers same as to first timers!

• We are new to escape rooms and Komnata Quest is amazing. So far we've done the maze and the Frankenstein room (greenpoint location). Both are pretty challenging, scary, and super addictive! I liked the maze more because you truly feel like you are in a world of demons. The staff are super nice and make the experience even better! They give you a lot of time to figure things out and then give good hints when you need them. Will definitely come back!

• Did Maze of Hakaina with 5 people, mostly veteran room escape players. One of the most fun room escapes I've done in terms of surprises and clever puzzles. Would recommend to any fan of these games! Staff very kind and into the act as well!
