• This was so fun! I did the Cafe, which people say was the easiest, but I really had a fantastic time. At first I was lost and thought we had no chance, but once we got the ball rolling, it was fun!

• CPC Queens did Chapter 2&3. We needed a little more time to be victorious in Chapter 2 but redeemed ourselves in Chapter 3 with 8 minutes to spare. So I recommend chapter 2 Biotech if you want a challenge to your problem solving skills. Overall everyone should have the Mystery Room NYC experience!!!

• We went to chapter 3 Cafe Belim which is awesome! We were so close and just needed 3 more minutes to solve the last puzzle and get out. And we did have lots of fun even with the fail. The room is well designed and decorated. Some of the puzzles are quite unique and you wouldn't see or think of them in other escape games. Clues are given very well so that they lead us to the right answer without ruining the fun of getting to it. Wanted to try the other two chapters right away but they were all fully reserved. Will definitely go back for the other two chapters.

• Let me just say, this is NOT another one of those "escape the room" wannabes. This is Mystery Room and this is the only room you'll want to escape from.
  
  Be prepared to use your brain and think out of the box. Yes, you probably expected that, but this will really challenge your mind and you're going to have to come together with your team. It is hard and it is quite the challenge, but as you solve every puzzle, you'll feel that much more accomplished. Upon walking through the door, you're given a little back story as to why you're here and what your mission is. You will get various hints along the way and I loved the way they did this. There are cameras in the room for them to watch you and give you little hints to help you through. There were a few times we were just so stuck and they'd give us tiny hints to help you think in a different way to really solve the puzzle. They never give anything away, but they'll tell you if you're on the right path or not.
  
  As much as I hate to do this, I will compare this to Escape the Room, given that everyone figures that Mystery Room probably can't compare to the "original." Let me tell you, it can and honestly it far exceeds what Escape the Room can offer. Every puzzle is slightly different and Mystery Room definitely challenges you. There's a story to what you are solving; you aren't just locked in a room, trying to get out, you're a detective, trying to solve a mystery and after you escape, the mystery isn't exactly solved. You're left with another mystery to solve, which means I need to come back to find out what happens next! The staff are with you along the way, giving you customized hints and an overall customized experience. Every booking is different and your experience, isn't going to be the same as the person before you.
  
  Give this place a shot, you won't be let down and you'll leave looking at things with a different mindset.
