I am an alumni of probably 30 rooms by now in several countries, and this one is not among the good ones on my list.Dorri
A good puzzle should be challenging, because it requires creativity, intelligence, etc. A bad puzzle is a puzzle you know how to solve early on, but waste a lot of time due to technicalities, reliance on luck, or ill-execution. This room had one or two good puzzles and too many bad ones in my view. I agree with other reviews that the set is well executed, but I'm afraid it is not enough.
So much fun! I thought this was going to be cheesy but no! It's a race against time to free yourselves. Be collaborative and interactive. You'll see the leaders emerge in your group.Veronica T.
Great time! Challenge was difficult however staff was available as needed! Would definitely do it again.Jennifer M.
This is a great activity but be fore warned, make sure you bring people that will actively participate. The clues can be tricky but if everyone works together it is possible to escape.J J.
We came here after completing all of the Komnata Manhattan rooms (which are AMAZING) and weren't disappointed. We started at the 104 West Street location and did Doctor Frankenstein and Hex of the Chinese Jewelry Box, then moved on to the 67 West Street location for Joker's Cafe and Bullets and Broken Hearts. These rooms are the BEST in NYC, hands down - and we've done dozens. Also, shout out to Chris at 67 West - he was one of the best game masters we've worked with!Ellen D.
I had a great experience at Komnata Quest. It was my first time doing a escape room and it was amazing. I did the Jokers Cafe which was super interesting. I will totally go back and do another escape. The key master Kyle was very nice and great at explaining and starting the adventure of going into the jokers Cafe.Anna G.
