My little family really enjoys escape rooms-we've probably done half a dozen to date. This one was a lot of fun and well thought out.

We were given some back story and basic instructions prior to starting the game. We were not told to leave a second door alone-we found that it was unlocked and led us out of the room. It was not part of the game, but probably unlocked due to fire code.

The clues were tricky (we did the Infiltrated room) but not so difficult that we gave up. Our group consisted of three adults, a 14 year old boy and 12 year old girl. The kids were able to contribute quite a bit and help their parents figure things out. It definitely was a team effort!

Description:

Thanks to the infiltration of their top double-agent, the CIA knows there is an attack planned on the United States. But now their agent has gone missing! As a team of elite operatives, you must search Agent Evans' office for clues about the coming attack. But the KGB are on their way to keep things quiet, so you'll need to hurry!

Our Getout Pass gave us free admission to one of the rooms at Escape Key. We did the Infiltrated room. I have to say that I was skeptical that it would be very good, based on their mini escape room game at FearCon and also because the employees at Getout Games recommended them (anyone that Getout Games recommends is automatically suspect because their room was so bad). We were not disappointed though. This proved to be a really fun experience. They had a number of really fun and unique puzzles, the theming was well done, and the game master was attentive and just the right amount of helpful. We had a great time.

Li was an excellent and accommodating host. I have played many rooms (over 60) and contacted Li to ask what room to play and to allow us to play even though only 3 had booked given my experience. He proactively asked if I'd prefer to play a harder room, and then switched me over. He was also a helpful host during the very clever room (Infiltration) itself. Great variety of clues and excellent theming! I'll certainly go back on my next visit to play again!

This was my forst escape room that I have done, but boy did they get me into a new hobby! I loved the clues and the scenario of the plot. Towards the middle and end it started to feel real, and we were engaged the whole time. We will be returning and sending lots of friends!

This room recommendation is for 3-4 people, if it werent for my genius wife, we would have no made it, but we did with 29 seconds to spare ;) we were told we are the first couple they have seen get out alone and with the right answers in time.

Highly recommended! If your debating, just do it and have a blast. The perfect date night, thanks so much!
