Escape rooms where the ultimate task is to steal something are becoming more and more popular. Bank heists are the most common crimes, sometimes you'll also have to rob art galleries or museums. Skillful players can try to challenge the most notorious thieves of the century. Be ready for lasers, alarm systems, secret vaults and tons of cash.
So much fun! We had such a good time in the Willy Wonka room we did Point Break the same night. The owners were awesome! Can’t wait for the next room they will have! You have to check this place out.

We came here as a team building exercise for our office and it was a BLAST! None of us had ever been to an escape room before, and didn't know what to expect. the owner was so friendly, and explained how everything worked. We did the point break room and it was so hard! We didn't escape, but I'm pleased with how close we got! Would absolutely love to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me!

My group loved it!! As escape room junkies, finding out there was a location opening up in downtown Raleigh was a dream. Honestly the location can't be beat. It's near our favorite cupcake shoppe right across the street. Our group did the Heist and even though there was 3 of us (you physically need 4 or just 3 if you have tall people in your group) we successfully escaped. We've seen a lot of escape rooms in our day and there were puzzles that we have never seen before at all. The puzzles were very creative yet straight to the point. They were challenging and pertained to the theme of the room. Even though it was a single room, we weren't disappointed with that fact. There was enough to do and it was streamlined enough to work on them together rather than one person heading a group. There was also enough space for use to breath rather than feeling cramped in a one room escape at other locations. For an escape room that opened recently, it was polished enough and didn't have many errors at all. We can't wait to come back and try the different rooms to challenge ourselves even more!

Went with some coworkers to try "the heist." It was a good challenge and it made us work together to solve the puzzles. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was a lot of fun and we will all be back soon!

Excellent. I have visited Room 5280 twice with the same group and with each visit we cannot wait to return. Excellent customer service, engaging games and an overall great time! The Heist and the Experiment are the games we tried and we are counting the days until we are able to try the others!

I was excited to see a throwback to such a fun movie, but really there's nothing on-theme from the movie in the room - it's a generic "bank heist" room. It was a sea of key and combo-locks, and a jigsaw puzzle at one point. You'd unlock boxes to find more locked boxes inside them, so the room didn't flow, but stopped abruptly several times when the excitement of opening something revealed only another thing you didn't know how to open. The second room is a big letdown when you look in and it's just a wall of key and combo locks.
