Description:

For a thousand and one years before the days of Aladdin, genies have been granting wishes to those fortunate enough to find one of their magical lamps. Each genie, by the code and laws of all magical things, must grant precisely 1,000 wishes before they are released from their service within the lamp. These wishes must be fulfilled in no less than 500 years. Balazar Bolderdash, a genie of exceptionally good disposition, has served faithfully in his own Magic Lamp for 499 years, 364 days and 23 hours and granted 999 wishes exactly. The last wish however, has been lost somewhere within the Magic Lamp. Find the wish and free Balazar before his time runs out!

3 Adults and 3 Kids (5, 9, 11 years) did The Magic Lamp as our 1st ever escape room. We had a great time! It was challenging, but we did escape with about a minute left. The pre beginner and beginner level clues were perfect for our group; one more challenging clue toward the end added some pressure, but increased the fun. I would recommend Gnome and Raven and look forward to another Escape Adventure here.

Did the Magic Lamp with coworkers a few weeks ago and had a blast, so took a big group of kids to Shipwrecked today and they also had an amazing time. The adult session with intermediate/advanced level clues was challenging, but today's session with pre-beginner/beginner level clues was still engaging for the adults without losing the youngest children. Some of the younger ones were creeped out by the atmosphere or didn't feel the group listened to them enough, but overall I was really impressed at how the experience was crafted to cater to the broad range of ages we had (4-15, plus adults). And I just love the detail that goes into these rooms.

This was hands down the best escape room experience our family has ever had. The Magic Lamp room was beautifully designed: immersive, detailed, and very entertaining. The intermediate difficulty level was perfect for our family of four: challenging yet doable in the allotted time. Our 4- and 7-year-old kids were even able to solve several of the puzzles by noticing clues and working out answers with us. We will definitely be back to do the other rooms!

We were fortunate enough to be able to book all 4 of their rooms (Wizard, Genie, Tomb, and Shipwreck) and all 4 were great. The staff and management were all friendly and engaged and made our escape room day that much better. The puzzles were creative, logical and lots of fun and the rooms were all impressive visually too. Definitely recommend checking them out!

For whatever it’s worth we have done about 100 escape rooms in several states and we don’t always love them but Gnome and Raven was one of our favorite locations!
