• Puzzles & Locks worn out and don't work well even with the correct combos. Staff pays no attention to your progress so expect to ask for many clues just to find you solved it correctly but the puzzles / tec didn't function as designed.
  
  Weekend warrior who does 2 - 4 rooms a weekend and travel out of state to participate in escape rooms. That said, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED skipping these Generation One rooms.

• I've done about 20 escape rooms in the past year, and this was worst! I've never before felt like I just wanted to stop before my time ran out. Many of the puzzles wouldn't unlock, even when solved correctly. Many of the locks were old and took several attempts to open. More than once, we asked for a hint only to find we already solved a puzzle, but staff had to come in the room and manually open the next clue due to faulty equipment. The staff weren't tracking our progress at all, and when asking for a hint, they would ask "what puzzle are you on?" We also finished a room and didn't know it, because there was nothing to indicate we were done. We continued searching for the next clue for 5-10 minutes before asking for a hint, and they said, "oh, if you've solved (the last puzzle), then you've escaped." I would say it was completely a waste of money, but at least now I know to never go back!

• While visiting from Phx, I did the Carnival Room with my sister. This was a challenging room for us, in that you sometimes couldn't move on until you won a carnival game. But we DID beat the games, and we escaped and had a blast doing it! Sean was our gamemaster, and he was spot on giving us help. (Thanks, Sean!) This is an amazing place, and I recommend it for the entire family. (We are both over 60 and loved it!) I highly recommend this room for locals and travelers alike.

• Really fun for the whole group. There were eight of us and we made it out in an hour but needed clues. Fun night, I would recommend it . Can't wait to try it again!!

• So much fun!! Did the carnival escape game and was surprised by how fun and interactive it was! Difficult enough to be a challenge for adult groups but not so much so that families with kids couldn't go and have a blast. Gaelin was our host and was fabulous. He was funny and made our hour in the room that much more memorable. Look forward to trying the other SD location's escape room!
