I purchased the Georgetown ERL's "Curse of the Mummy" room as a Friendsmas outing for me and my friends. The room was challenging, well themed with sophisticated gadgets and puzzles, and everyone had a great time channeling their inner-Indiana Jones.
Checking out hieroglyphics and sarcophagi is a great day for any archaeologist. But it turns out that this particular Egyptian tomb isn’t quite open to guests. In fact, it’s got the curse of Anubis on it which dooms anyone who enters to certain death! With the stone doors selead tight and time running out, things in this pyramid are not looking good. You’ve only got 60 minutes of air left to find a secret passageway to escape! But make sure you keep an eye out for booby traps or any mummies lurking around…
Loved the atmosphere of the Mummy room. Everything looked cool, and somewhat authentic, including sand on the floor! Nice that there was more than one room to unlock! Our ages were 53, 27, 23 and 22, and we all enjoyed it.

We had a great time visiting the Escape Room and trying the mummy room. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and it's great that there's a bar in the waiting area.

Did the mummy room and the cabin and they were both so much fun and challenging. The "game master" is always there to give you clues if you want them and the puzzles are satisfying to solve!

Did "The Curse of the Mummy" escape room as a group. Every one had a great time. There is a large meeting area to wait comfortably for your party to arrive and room to be ready. There is a bar serving beer, wine and sodas. Free lockers to store your stuff. Photos not allowed in the escape room itself.

Our group had an amazing time at this escape room. The facility was nice and our host/guide, Andrisse was funny and welcoming. We did the Mummy room and were able to escape! Tons of fun!

We did the Mummy room, and had a blast. Definitely needs a little out of the box thinking. I don't want to give away details, but you WILL have fun.

My 2 cousins and I first time doing an escape room and we had so much fun. The pharaoh theme room we had was awesome. We would definitely do an escape room here again when we're back in DC!
