You are scheduled with the doctor in 30 minutes, but forces (and a loud-mouthed receptionist) beyond your control are keeping you in the waiting room. It’s a race against time to reach the doctor, or watch him take off on his month-long vacation, leaving you with that $50 no-show charge.
