A malfunctioning time machine sends the players to another era, and only a correct sequence of decisions can return them to the present. Time travel escape rooms in Houston combine history, science fiction and logic puzzles.
The scenarios move between the Middle Ages, the twentieth century and the distant future, so every room offers a different setting and a different kind of challenge. Reserve a game in Houston and change the course of history.
Will you have the vacation of a lifetime or will you be stuck in a different time?
You've each been handpicked to enter the infamous Hoffman laboratory. Inside lies a dismantled invention unlike anything that humanity has ever seen before--a machine with the power to overcome time itself.
As you are traveling through time your time machine malfunctions causing a split in the space time continuum.
LOST IN TIME-BAD REVIEW-DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MINEYThis was the WORST EXPERIENCE with an Escape Room In a long time. I had read BAD REVIEWS about LOST IN TIME at EscapeItHouston but went to experience for myself.
I have done over100 Escape Rooms and know what constitutes a good vs poor quality room. This escape room at the Katy Location had actually BROKEN PUZZLES that had to be reset by the staff twice even after a correct code was entered.
The staff named Morty was rude and obviously didn’t like her job. She remained defensive and not accommodating throughout the game. Her responses to our requests for clues weee delayed and because the puzzle we solved correctly the first time had to be reset it delayed our time and we couldn’t get to the end of the game.
DO NOT GO TO ESCAPEITHOUSTON for LOST IN TIME. Less than one STAR!
The SOLUTION OF THIS GAME WASNT TOO DIFFICULT BUT BECAUSE THE PUZZLES WERENT WORKING IT DELAYED GETTING THROUGH THE GAME AND LED TO A BAD EXPERIENCE.
WE found the locked box in the trash can of paper and put in the code of 3461 that was outlined by the blinking lights. The box provided more info for inside the second room. However the piece of wood magnet used to trace a map inside the first room wasn’t working well and took coaching from the staff to getting it working and open the door. The box behind the door inside the second room had an easy 3 digit lock of 456. However the long code we put in on the light was correct but was broken and wouldn’t let us into the next room. We had to use 2 charts from an opening under the long access code to navigate the third room but of course ran out of time due to the broken puzzles and delays. The key was found on the wall in a box in the first room and you had to use the emergency number 2005 from the first room in the third room.
Overall a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE and I do not recommend this room to anyone based on all the BAD REVIEWS and comments already posted!November 30, 2025

КаthyMy brother and I did the Timeliner here and it was very fun! It was just the two of us but we could still do the puzzles. Having 8 people might be a bit crowded but still fun regardless. Maggie was in charge of our game and she was very nice and helpful during the game. She provided easy to follow clues whenever we were stumped. She also gave recommendations on places to go in Houston since this is our first time visiting. We highly recommend this place and Maggie!

tejaWe a group of 6 been to the escape room for the first time and we chose Train through time and we really enjoyed our time while solving the puzzles. We almost made it but we were not able to escape that day!! The staff there were very friendly and guided us whenever we were running out of time and we had really enjoyed our time over there. It’s time to cover the rest of the escape rooms too!!!
