Seven is said to be a lucky number. It's all around us: the seven wonders of the world, seven colors of the rainbow, seven days of the week and many more examples. With the universe on your side, the odd be definitely be in your favor. That's why seven is a great number of players for an escape room!
A friend and I did both episodes of this room over a couple of weeks. High quality props and puzzles, and we actually enjoyed both episodes individually although they were in the same room because it was a completely separate experience each time. Really enjoyed the black and white aspect as well.

One of the more unique and interactive rooms we’ve ever played. The other two rooms at Deadline are great as well, more thoughtful and great use of tech, without the frustration of tech errors (the tech is more involving ambiance, thus failure rate is minimal and wouldn’t harm game play). Less of a “canned” feel than other rooms. Loads of movement and allows more players to “do” at the same time vs all working on one small detail constantly.

Super fun! We were rookies and did the Blackbeard one. This was the 'easiest' (was not easy) one and we had a hard time with some of the clues. (We were a family of 4, w kids 11 and 13). One clue in particular took us way too long. We did need to use the walkie talkie and asked for some clues. Justin was super helpful yet didn't give it away. (Although I wonder if he was laughing at the 4 of us struggling w clues - hahaha). There were some cool very unexpected surprises along the way.

Technically we did not escape - we ran out of time by about 30 seconds. Since we were on the last clue, Justin let us finish up. Again, one hint took us way too long. Oh well! Next time we will be better.
Definitely will be back to try the other rooms. Feel like we may be able to do a better job now that we've done our first room.
We escape rooms, and have now officially done all the rooms at puzzle room, in fact today we did two rooms and were lucky enough to have Audrey as our game master both times. We did Blackbeard's treasure then left for lunch and returned at 3:00 for The Cabin both games started on time, everything was explained beautifully and we were able to escape both times with lots of time to spare. Thank you for a fun filled afternoon!! Time for some new rooms or find a way to make them replayable so we can keep coming back!!

This was our first escape room experience and we will definitely be back! Angie was super helpful and a great host. On her recommendation we chose to do Blackbeard's Treasure and we really enjoyed it! We had a group of five, with three kids ages 6 through 15, and we all enjoyed it. Can't wait to come back and try out one of the other rooms!

It was a hoot! Fun for all ages! Come join in the fun!
