• Initially we had a hiccup with getting booked for a room here however the manager Justin took good care of us and we are so glad with did the Zodiac Killer room. Great puzzles and twists in this room and we would definitely recommend going here!

• My group did the Zodiac Killer escape room and it was really fun! Perfectly challenging for our group of 6, really well done presentation of the room, really nice gamemaster, PERFECT spooky vibes for Halloween time! A unique and fun experience right on 1st Ave near all the best Seattle has to offer!

• Had a blast doing the Zodiac Killer room! Our attendant, Kepler, was an absolute joy, and was so excited for us to experience the room. Her part in it really took this over the top! The theme was absolutely on point, the production value was great, and there were some incredibly cool gimmicks that I won't spoil. I'll definitely be back to check out the other rooms.

• The store manager Justin was our host and he was so helpful. No way in hell we would have escaped without asking him for clues, lol. It was my first time there but I'm a seasoned escape room artist and I'd definitely visit when in Seattle again! The puzzles were entertaining and the room set-up and execution were chef's kiss - I was scared even though I dont get scared easily, lol. Thankfully, we got the tickets for an early movie screening instead of being caught by the Zodiac Killer!

• Me and my friends did the Zodiac killer room. It was excellent and our host Sam was wonderful and very helpful. I highly recommend the Fox in a Box company for anyone getting into escape rooms, due to the helpful hints and anyone who has done them many times due to the difficulty really being challenging without hints. We will be back soon to try the Prison themed one next!

• We had an absolutely lovely time doing the Zodiac Killer room for my birthday. One of the better escape rooms I've been to! Our game master Justin was wonderful and did an excellent job giving us helpful hints that didn't take the fun out of anything. It was very trans and queer welcoming, also.

• Zodiac is a fun room but is easily the least-scary 'scary' room I've done. I've done rooms without a horror theme that had more scares. The puzzling was solid and flowed well. If you are unsure if scary rooms are your thing but want to try, this is a good introduction.

• Super immersive. I'm a huge scardey cat but Zodaic wasn't too bad!! Just loud noises :) lots of fun and very professional. Sam was a great guide and made it a fun and safe experience. All staff were great and friendly!! Would go again.

• This place was incredible! We did the 18+ Zodiac killer escape and it was so fun! They create the perfect environment it's a 10/10 place.

• Our group of 4 had a great experience playing the Zodiac room! One of us was a newbie, and the rest of us had done one or two escape rooms in the past. Our host was very helpful with instructions and hints when we needed them. I look forward to returning to experience the other rooms. Highly recommend!

• my second ever escape room!! i went with two people and we played the zodiac room! it was very immersive and the set was super cool, it was a little bit difficult!! we were unfortunately victims as we did not make it out alive but we only had a couple things left to get through!! i would recommend fox in a box to anyone looking for a fun activity to do with friends or for a date night, i will hopefully be coming back to do the rest of the rooms!! the staff was super friendly and helpful as well 😊😊

• Great game! We tried the “zodiac killer” room and it was great fun. Unfortunately we didn’t escape but we only had two in our group. Highly recommend you giving it a try.

• Never did an escape room before until the missus and I tried it out for a date night. We did the zodiac room and it was a lot more fun than I expected. There were moments of horror but it really added to the experience. Hopefully down the line there'll be updated rooms with more horror themes. 10/10 for our first time!

• Did Zodiac Killer with friends and it was an amazing experience. Instructions were clear, staff were extremely friendly and did a great job (to my dismay) of scaring us and immersing us. Puzzles and room were fantastic and fun. Highly recommend the Zodiac Killer experience to any escape room enthusiasts and Fox in a Box in general!

• My friends and I had such a fun and thrilling experience at Fox in a Box! We were greeted right away by Kepler, our escape room master. They were so passionate and excited for us to experience the Zodiac Killer escape room. There were unique clues, really cool set designs, and even got in some good scares (mostly me, I'm a wuss). Overall, a really great experience. Definitely recommend coming here.

• Best experience for our very first escape room! We did the zodiac room. Our game master was very detailed with the instructions and gave us hints when she saw us struggling. In total we got about 4 hints and made it out with 20 seconds to spare! The setup and props definitely make it seem life like which I enjoyed. Definitely gonna come back and try the other rooms!

• I did the Zodiac themed escape room and it was such a blast! My team and I completed it in 50 minutes. Whoo hoo!! Just for those who might be wondering if it's too scary - it's not. Without giving anything away, there are certainly a bit of horror elements to it and there's one really loud jump scare, but other than that, it's your straightforward escape room. There aren't any actors or anything that will pop out at you. As for the difficulty level, this is probably a medium. In total, my team only asked for 3 hints. You do have to decode some puzzles and find items to use for something within the room. The game is nonlinear, so you will need to keep some items with you throughout the game. I really want to try the other two rooms (The Mission Bunker and Prison Break).

• An extremely immersive experience... had dreams about it for three days after! (which makes it really good) I highly recommend to do this with a friend group and have at least one person who is brave! I 100% plan on coming back to try out the other rooms!

• My husband and I did the Zodiac room and smashed it. It was so much fun that we did the jail break immediately afterwards. Will was our game master and he made the experience soo fun! Definitely gonna go back for the last room! We set a record for prison break and almost beat the record for zodiac. Will and Willow really made us feel like we did a great job. A must do when in Seattle!!!

• For the past few years my husband had been wanting us to try an escape room. For his birthday last month, we spent a few days vacation in Seattle and I bought him 2 separate admissions to this wonderful place as a surprise gift for him. He had no idea what his gift was until we were at their front door! We had an awesome time, 2 days in a row. although we were killed by the Zodiak killer on day 1 .. it was well worth the experience. We also ALMOST made it out of the prison escape but failed. One of the highlights for us navigating these 2 experiences was our host Will. Thanks Will, you helped make this gift magical for both of us.

  Zodiac is definitely my favorite! Soooo cool!!! I felt like a little detective!
  
  The staff was very friendly and I liked the lockers provided for personal belongings - something I haven’t seen in other rooms.Jo was our game supervisor and she took our experience to a whole new level.
  
  Can’t wait to go back for them to expand and add more rooms!

• This was our first Escape Room experience and I must say that we truly enjoyed it. We chose the Zodiac theme room and it was challenging. What made our experience extra special was meeting and working with both Ash and Austin the facilitators. They were extremely friendly, gave us history of the theme we chose and clearly communicated the object. We needed several clues throughout the game and both were there to give us key hints (not answers) to help us out. We will definitely go back.
