This was our first room at Gotham Escape Room. To say we loved it is to say nothing! It's pretty challenging and we wouldn't have escaped without all hints the staff provided. I also took my family to this room after that so I've played it twice :-)Helena
One of the most beautiful escape rooms I've ever done! Various puzzles, cool hints (the mad doctor's voice was awesome!), and a wonderful Victorian Steampunk atmosphere. The room is really well made: the attention to the details is amazing. There was a puzzle I'd never seen before. I loved it and higly recommend it.Helena
My friends and I came to play a game here on my birthday and ended up sticking around to play two more on the same day because we were so impressed with the rooms. We actually came back the NEXT day to play another room! At this point we have played almost every room they have and have found each one more interesting and exciting than the last. Chamber of Horrors would have to be my personal favorite. It was an exhilarating, immersive experience. If you’re looking for an escape room experience that will have you begging for the next one, this is the place to go! Can’t wait to come back and play more!Jack
I only did a 5 minute minute escape room before, so this is my second time doing an escape game, but this one was definitely a lot more complex, and it was amazing! I was surprised we won, and it was definitely creepy, I LOVED IT! 10/10 would recommend, and am in fact doing it again tomorrow, so if that doesn’t convince you, I don’t know what will!!!Emily
We had a great time playing the Gold Rush room! We went with a group of 6 and that was the perfect amount. Will be going back soon to try the other rooms.Patrick S
Wow. I want to start off by saying I have done a lot of escape rooms, but this experience was an outstanding one. In the roughly forty rooms that I've played, The Gold Rush at The Escape Game in King of Prussia has to be in my top three rooms. I had a group of five adults total, and while the room says it can accommodate up to eight people, I wouldn't want more than six in this room. The spaces are very small.Ally R.
I wish I could remember our hostess's name, because she was lovely and I hope I have her for when I inevitably return to play all the other rooms. She really had a good feel for when we needed clues and when we didn't. She also kindly paused the game upon our request when we had trouble with a directional lock puzzle (we had to try it about 6 times until we got it to work correctly).
We were led into a darkish room that was beautifully dressed as a rustic cabin front on a quiet evening in the mountains. We first had to break into the cabin, which took about fifteen minutes. Once inside the very tiny cabin, there were a handful of puzzles that were very appropriate to the theme of the game. We had guns and trophies to help move us along. I won't spoil the surprise, but finding (and getting to) the final room was one of the biggest highlights of the whole game.
Overall this is a beautiful escape room with excellent attention to detail. If you're reading this review and considering going, do it.
