A good detective is more than a deerstalker and a pipe. Find out if you have what it takes to catch a kidnapper, solve a murder case or find a missing person. Put your detective skills to a test: the unsolved cases of San Diego are waiting for you!
Really, really well done room. Looking back, I don't think there was a single combination lock - a couple of keypads, but no hanging locks. There was a great narrative to it and I have to say i just LOVED the very beginning. Great use of lighting and sound to really set the mood.Jeff
This is an amazing room to do. If you are not a big fan of locks and more locks, this is for you! The puzzles are amazing, creative, very original.Rivers Family
The room is well designed and has a very good flow on the story. Very high tech!
We had an amazing time and highly recommend this room.
My friends and I had a lot of fun! We escaped, but we didn't find the secret out on our own, the difficulty level was good for relatively-new-to-escape-rooms people. There are some clues you have to pay a lot more attention to your surroundings to than others, which was a fun challenge to the game.Alley
Puzzles & Locks worn out and don't work well even with the correct combos. Staff pays no attention to your progress so expect to ask for many clues just to find you solved it correctly but the puzzles / tec didn't function as designed.Chad Griffin
Weekend warrior who does 2 - 4 rooms a weekend and travel out of state to participate in escape rooms. That said, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED skipping these Generation One rooms.
My family visited 3rd Day Escape on Halloween Day with the intent of doing the haunted escape. My daughter and I were all up for that game, but my wife and son felt hesitant about that once we actually got on site. We chose to go with Hourglass Killer instead. The staff was super friendly, gave us great instructions on what we needed to do to complete the escape. They even passed along some hints while we were in the middle of the game. Long story short, we solved the case with a little more than 9 minutes remaining, and everybody felt like it was time and money well spent. Next time we're in San Diego, we're going back to 3rd Day Escape.Mark Ross
Wow! What a fun and challenging room! Denzel was extremely nice and helpful! He let us know about the other room option and will be back again very soon!Natasha
