Eight people is a reasonable amount of players for escape rooms. Everyone will find something to do: strategizing, taking charge, searching for clues, solving puzzles, cheering the team on, counting down the minutes, wandering from room to room or chatting up the game master. Book one of the rooms in San Diego and find out what will your contribution be!
The best best escape room I have been to!!! I’ve been to many escape rooms and this one is quite challenging. I love the Harry Potter theme in the wizards room. It’s a lot of fun and cool challenges. The guy that works there, Konstantin is super nice and informative. Booking was online. The location is right across the street from the San Diego University and there’s parking right in the front. It just looks like the place might be closed from the outside but once you go up the stairs, you’ll see that it’s open. MUST GO! Have fun :)Jennifer Shirazi
Nice room. Quite refreshing since no combination locks (I mean it's a tomb!), so all the puzzles were pretty unique.siqi he
This room is AMAZING!! It is harder than the police escape witch is also in the building. It is pretty much harry potter themed witch I love. The person in the building actully made the hole escape room as well as one of the locks. The guy that works there is also very very very nice. He gave us 3 hints and helped us a little along the way. I 100% recommend this room to everyone and I, my self would 100% do it again!Hailey
Puzzles & Locks worn out and don't work well even with the correct combos. Staff pays no attention to your progress so expect to ask for many clues just to find you solved it correctly but the puzzles / tec didn't function as designed.Chad Griffin
Weekend warrior who does 2 - 4 rooms a weekend and travel out of state to participate in escape rooms. That said, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED skipping these Generation One rooms.
My family visited 3rd Day Escape on Halloween Day with the intent of doing the haunted escape. My daughter and I were all up for that game, but my wife and son felt hesitant about that once we actually got on site. We chose to go with Hourglass Killer instead. The staff was super friendly, gave us great instructions on what we needed to do to complete the escape. They even passed along some hints while we were in the middle of the game. Long story short, we solved the case with a little more than 9 minutes remaining, and everybody felt like it was time and money well spent. Next time we're in San Diego, we're going back to 3rd Day Escape.Mark Ross
Second time that we do this escape room, and we loved it as much as the first time.Rivers Family
Staff is always super nice and friendly!
If you are up for some heartbeat jumps, this is the right one for you.
