• 2 of us played The Playground which anything under 4 people for that role is a Level 9 difficulty! We beat it with just under 2 minutes to spare and our game master, Drea, was AMAZING! She was so fun & encouraging. The room is SUPER fun & I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys escape rooms.

It was challenging and we didn't finish in time, but everyone was able to contribute to solving the clues and we all had a blast. Everyone at The Escape Game NYC was super nice and helpful as well (especially when we had to reschedule our appointment due to an illness). Wish we lived closer so we could go back again soon!

• This place is brilliant, if you want to have fun doing an escape room with your kids, do the playground school one, it's challenging and distracting for the kids, so it frees the adults up to do the game.

• The Escape Game is national chain with locations in many different states.
  
  My family of 4 (wife, 10-year old, and 9-year old) just completed the Playground escape room. The children love the room because they were able to climb and run around. The theme makes you feel like you are in class again. There is a lot to do in the room so I recommend having a larger group. We really enjoyed our time there, and it is an excellent room so be sure to book early to make sure that you get your preferred time slot.

• We were 2 adults and 3 teens and did the Playground game. Though Covid is less of a worry than it was over the past 2 years, I was concerned about sharing an enclosed space with strangers so was happy that we had the ability to buy out session at a discount to make it private.
  
  It's a great activity for different age groups / multiple generations to do together and have fun.
  
  Everyone had a great time and we'll definitely be back to try a different game in the future.

• I’ve done a ton of these and this room exceeded them all! I’ve done Playground and Gold Rush here and they are both excellent. Come ready to think and explore- but absolutely COME!!! You won’t be disappointed:)

• My group did Playground. We are veteran escape room players. Absolutely loved the production value of this room. The puzzles were all unique and fun. I finished but wanted it to keep going. One of the best rooms I have ever done.

• As a first time escaper, I had no idea what to expect! Nerves got the best of me, but the TEG team instantly eased my worries. Their warm and inviting smiles made it easy for me to loosen up. We chose the playground room, and it was the perfect choice! All the colors, puzzles and games brought me back in time. The setting of the room makes it hard to believe you are not actually in a classroom. A lot of thought went into crafting such a cool room. It was fun to be a kid again!

• We have done over 100 escape rooms. The staff was amazing and complementary. Sam was our clue master and she was excellent. Playground was so much fun for a family with kids. Our twins 6 yrs old were able to be helpful for most of the room, and had things to do if they lost interest in clue solving. A variety of clues kept us entertained, and the setting and theme were so connected. It was rated 6/10 difficulty, and I found it both difficult and yet sensible. We purchased a bunch of gift cards afterward for 20% off to come back and do the other rooms.

• I was in a group of 4 people tackling the "Playground" room and we all had a great time finding our way through the puzzles. I really liked how they made you work together. Loved the elementary school flavor, and the board at the front of the room that does a great job keeping you motivated. We only needed a few hints and since we made it with 2 minutes to spare. Can't wait to try the rest of the rooms!
