Like a cat with nine lives, your group of relatives, friends, coworkers or perfect strangers will triumph in this exciting challenge - a real-life escape game! It's time to escape the room, so choose one of the rooms in Seattle which can accommodate up to nine players!
I was recommended this place by a friend and it was an absolute blast. Such a fun place to make memories. The room, shimmer reef, was filled with great detail. You can tell they put a lot of effort in building their rooms and making the puzzles challenging and fun. I can only hope to try the other rooms someday. The mechanics were so cool and all the puzzles were very unique. I will recommend this place as it was a beyond phenomenal experience.

Incredible rooms and best in Seattle! My wife and I have done around 125 rooms and Guardian's Grove and Shimmer Reef are probably in our top 10 :) Other escape rooms in Seattle seem to get more attention than these guys, but Sure Lock was is our favourite so far. They have some of the best puzzles we've done in a long time... they make sense, they're challenging, and very rewarding when you figure them out. Highly recommend Guardian's Grove / Shimmer Reef for enthusiasts and more experienced teams, and Pirate Shipwreck / Abandoned Mineshaft for newcomers to escape rooms

Had fun in the shimmer reef room! Taiberius was great and provided good hints when we asked for them. The puzzles were definitely challenging but lots of fun.

My group did both the Mad Pharaoh and the Ghostly Galleon rooms. We loved them both, but preferred the Mad Pharaoh one because it was much more difficult and involved. It was very fun with a lot of neat puzzles. The technology on the sarcophagus was especially nice.

This was my first escape room experience and I'm hooked! I'm not good at puzzles but still had a great time figuring out the riddles. I recommend to all, atleast give it a shot! Matt was a great host and we couldn't have done it without him!

We took our team out to play Rise of the Mad Pharaoh at Hourglass Escapes, and we had a blast. For me, it was my very first time in an escape room. The puzzles were interesting and challenging. It was just the right amount of difficulty, luck, and humor to keep our whole team engaged.

It was a great event for our little company, and I would recommend it to anyone: for some old-fashioned fun, a birthday party, or a corporate team-building or morale event. Thanks, Seth, for hosting us!
